Welcome to Troop 204!
Troop 204 crosses over from Pinecrest, to South Miami, and Coconut Grove, Florida and was formed in October 2008 as a Daisy level troop at Ludlam Elementary. In 2021, our original founding members graduated high school. Over the years, the troop has grown and expanded to a multi-level troop of 30+ representing 17 different public, private, religious and charter schools in South Florida.
Our troop crest is the HONEY BEE, which accurately represents our very active, hardworking & sweet group of girls. Our troop mission is to give girls a wide variety of experiences and challenges while having a lot of fun!
Troop meetings are typically held once a month on the second Saturday from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at GS South Miami Little House, but we do make adjustments to avoid holding meetings on long/holiday weekends, or when we have a large event or camp out scheduled on the same day. We typically have 3-4 other events during the month that the girls may opt to participate in. Participation is not mandatory and please do not feel that you have to attend everything - we are a troop of working moms and understand that the girls have other interests and commitments. That being said, know that your girl will get as much out of Scouting as she puts into it, so the more you do attend, the more badges she will earn, friends she will make, and fun she will have!

We can answer any questions you may have at our next troop meeting, via email or over the phone. If you have NOT yet registered as a Girl Scout, please register online, then complete the forms found on the New Member page and come to a troop meeting. If you have not yet decided to join our troop that is okay…no pressure! We invite you to try out a meeting or event before committing to a troop. If your daughter enjoys it, she can join at any time throughout the year and jump right in!
